Terms & Conditions

Please take a moment to read through our terms and conditions.

All clients wishing to book Duets & Privates are required to do a private Initial Assessment so a personalised program can be developed by the instructor. It is the client’s responsibility to notify the instructor of any illness, pathologies, or injuries. Private and Duet sessions are all personalised for the client based on their goals and how the body presents at the session. Sessions are more than the time in the studio, progress notes are completed for every client/session and home exercises are prescribed to continue the development of healthy movement within the body.

Group Classes are small with a maximum of 6 clients but you do have the responsibility to adjust the equipment yourself and ensure you listen to the instructor for safety. No Initial is required but it is recommended to do studio sessions before the group class if you are new to Pilates or have any restrictions.

Group Classes are not suitable for 3rd Trimester pregnancy and anyone in pain or with acute injuries/pathologies, please see us for an Initial instead.

All appointments are pre-booked and pre-paid through the website booking software or by email hello@thepilatesnook.com.au

The Pilates Nook has a 24-hour cancellation policy, as instructors are paid based on attended sessions. Please give as much notice as you can so we can fill the appointment, if we do you will not be charged for your late cancellation, otherwise, the full fee will be charged or a session used from your pack. Packs and specials have expiry dates so ensure you are able to complete your sessions as no extensions are available. Please login to book, reschedule, or cancel sessions.

Sessions and packs are non-refundable.

Duets and Privates are 55 minutes, Group Classes are 50 minutes. Please arrive on time and leave promptly, sessions cannot be extended.

Wear comfortable clothes to allow you to move freely, be aware of loose clothing, and Skins (bicycle shorts) under your clothing is a great idea. Please do not wear jewellery or clothing with zips as this damages the surface of the equipment.

The studio requires everyone to wash/sanitise their hands before and after the session, bring a clean towel (if needed), wear clean socks for hygiene purposes, and grip socks are a great option for safety on the equipment. Clients are asked to wipe all equipment after use.

Pilates is for everyone and our social media reflects that, we use real sessions in our promotions, please let your instructor know if you do not want to have any images on our platforms.

We are also a training studio and regularly have students observing the sessions.

You agree to email reminders and promotional emails which can be unsubscribed at any time.

The Pilates Nook does not accept any responsibility for any injury, illness, loss or damage to any persons or property sustained or arising from any session including online sessions or use of the premises, clients undertake sessions at their own risk.

Thank you for taking time to read our terms and conditions.
