Shorts should provide decent coverage during movement. If wearing loose fitting or shorter length shorts, appropriate under-shorts should also be worn
For safety and to protect studio equipment, please avoid wearing loose jewellery or clothing with exposed zippers and buckles
Clean grip socks must be worn during class.
Bookings
Sessions are to be booked and paid for online or by emailing hello@thepilatesnook.com.au
It’s the Client’s responsibility to notify the Instructor of any illness, pathology or injury before each session
Privates and duets can be booked up to 1 hour before the session starts. Group classes can be booked up to 30 minutes before class starts
Privates and duets are 55 minutes and group classes are 50 minutes
Clients wishing to book privates or duets are required to first complete an initial assessment. This is a private movement analysis session so your goals and any rehabilitation needs are well understood by the Instructor and a program can be tailored accordingly.
Group classes
Group classes have a maximum of 6 clients. Please follow your Instructor’s safety cues, exercise modifications incase of injury and requests to alter the equipment position and springs. No initial assessment is required to join a group class but if you are new to Pilates, it is recommended that you start with one
Group classes are not suitable for 3rd trimester pregnancy, anyone in pain or with an acute injury or pathology. Please check with your GP or Specialist if you are unsure.
