CARRIE GUeST

Carrie is a qualified Pilates Instructor, Sports Massage Therapist and holds a BSc Hons Degree in Sports Science & Biology. After completing a Diploma of Sports Massage in 2005 she worked in London with sports clients, before emigrating to Sydney in 2007.

Carrie first began attending Pilates classes in London to improve her strength and reduce her risk of injury working in a busy massage practice. Her love of Pilates grew from the positive effect it had on her body and the increased efficiency she found with her massage work. Retiring from massage therapy in 2016 she continues to use her manual therapy skills in her Pilates sessions to improve outcomes for her clients.

Carrie completed her Diploma in Professional Pilates with Polestar Pilates in 2010. She believes in continued education and attends many courses to expand her knowledge in the world of health and wellness. Carrie has completed specialised courses in Pre/Post Natal, Osteoporosis - Buff Bones®, Craniosacral Therapy and Oov training.

Carrie loves to teach studio Pilates to private and duet clients with a focus on rehabilitation and sports performance but she also loves the energy of a group class! She brings her own unique personality and creativity to every session and has an eagle eye for technique and the subtleties of alignment.

Lauren Watts

Lauren is a Confidence and Mindset Coach, founder of Stumble & Shine Coaching, mum of three, coffee devotee, wine appreciator, and just a little bit clumsy (hence the stumbles). Life is rarely tidy, but it’s always teaching us something and I wouldn’t have it any other way.

I started Stumble & Shine because I know how easy it is to look like you’ve got it all together… while secretly running on fumes. My coaching is for people who are juggling a lot, doing their best, and just want to feel a little more like themselves again. There is no pressure to be perfect, no five-step morning routines at 5am, just real tools and support that meet you where you’re at.

My path here wasn’t polished or perfect. I went from stay-at-home mum in Sydney’s eastern suburbs to performance coach working with Warfare Officers in the Navy. It’s been a ride. But along the way, I backed my 13 years in HR and leadership development, earned a Postgrad Certificate in Coaching, and added certifications in TEIQue (Emotional Intelligence), DISC (behavioural profiling), and Red2Blue (performing under pressure).

At the retreat, I’m bringing you real talk and research-backed strategies, no technical jargon, nothing preachy. Just practical mindset tools to help you manage the mental load, show up when it matters, and make a little space to breathe again.

Accommodation

Berry Hill Farm has 3 beautiful accommodation options for us:

The original homestead, lovingly restored with respect to its heritage has two ensuite bedrooms. A mix of antique, rustic and modern influences create a sense of understated luxury. With a grand veranda overlooking the rolling hills and river, the homestead is also where retreat guests will relax in the common areas and enjoy their meals.

The classic Australian tractor shed has been lovingly converted into three contemporary ensuite bedrooms. Clean, modern interiors play off a charming rustic exterior, with each room featuring wall-to-wall bifold doors and expansive river views.

Lastly, there are a number of luxury tents which have been beautifully furnished with full-size spring mattresses (king/twin) on wooden bed bases, duck down quilts and pillows, Egyptian cotton sheets, tables, chairs, rugs and throws. The tents are fully powered and heated, each has an outdoor seating area and shared bathroom with showers.
